Family Note: Lee Quiring STATESMAN JOURNAL, SALEM, OREGON
March 23, 1924 - April 18, 2001
STONY PLAIN, Alberta, Canada - Lee Quiring, 77, died April 18 of cancer.
Born in Dalmany, Saskatchewan, Canada, he lived in Saskatchewan where he farmed
and owned a store.
In 1961, he moved to Dallas (POLK CO., OREGON) and opened Northwest Enterprises
Reality. He moved to Fresno, Calif., in 1966 and worked at Pacific College and
farmed with his son.
In 1978, he moved to Keizer (MARION CO., OREGON) and in 1991, he retired and
moved to Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada, later settling in Stony Plain. He
belonged to Spruce Grove Alliance Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and
gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Sue, whom he married in 1947; daughters, MarJean
Peters of Anchorage, Alaska, and Karen Weldon of Salem; son, Richard of Stony
Plain; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services were held. Interment is at Stony Plain. Arrangements are by Serenity
Funeral Services. Contributions: Mercy Ships, Canada.
