Full Obituary: Obituary for V. Ruth QuiringV. Ruth QuiringJan. 3, 1928 May 29, 2012Dallas- Ruth Quiring peacefully passed away on May 29th, 2012 at the Dallas Retirement Village. She was born in Bozeman, Montana on January 3rd, 1928 to Albert and Ruby Spady. Ruth was married to David Quiring until his passing in 2007. To this marriage were born four children; Bruce, Rose, Linda, and Mark. Ruth was a caring mother and invested her life in others. She served as a dispatcher for Polk County Sheriffs Department and later worked as a caregiver at the Dallas Nursing Home (currently Dallas Retirement Village). She made many lifelong and close friendships throughout her life and enjoyed those relationships even into the last days of her life. Her life was spent in service to others and she leaves a legacy of compassion, service, and faith.She is survived by her children Bruce (Jewel) Quiring, of Shelton, WA, Rose (Lloyd) Norman, of Napavine, WA, Linda (Denny) Knight, of Ryderwood, WA, and Mark (Samantha) Vandagriff, of Oregon City, OR. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Quiring. Ruth is also survived by her close companion and her special friend, Hank Quiring, who cared for her, they enjoyed a special relationship together after the passing of each of their spouses. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 2nd at 1:00PM at the Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Private inurnment will be at the Willamette National Cemetery at a later time. Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is handling the arrangements.
